Size does matter

Australian scientists showed that men with large penis are more attractive to women. As if that were not enough, it seems that it is not enough: there are more ´´conditions´´ to be fulfilled by male bodies. A study by scientists at the Australian National University showed that heterosexual women are more attracted to men with large penises. The results were published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS).

For their experiment, the researchers showed a voluntary group of 53 male figures with different penis sizes and various anatomical profiles. Then they asked them, anonymously, make an assessment of each. They concluded, therefore, that the size of penis that could be considered more sexually attractive to women is around 13 centimeters when not erect.

The results showed that women preferred the longest in general, but penises also took into account the height and steep masculine forms, such as broad shoulders and narrow hips. ´´If a man is low and has a pear-shaped body, a large penis does not increase your sex appeal,´´ Brian throws Mautz, one of the study authors.

Researchers suspect that these female preferences are responsible for the penis of the human being is particularly long compared with other closely related species, such as chimpanzees and gorillas. In other words, before men dressed clothes, women used the size of the penis as one of the factors to choose the best sexual partner for reproductive purposes.
